While Cu release from vitrified copper flotation waste was 5.2 mg/L, Cu release from vitrified copper flotation waste with addition of 20% and 60% SiO 2 was 1.3 and 0.3 mg/L, respectively. Similar results were determined for Zn and Pb release.
